Laiya Beach! San Juan, Batangas

One of the best places this summer is Laiya in San Juan, Batangas. From Manila you can take the Star Tollway via Lipa or Rosario and try the local version of “lomi” and the small bread in town. Upon reaching the town of San Juan, visit its public market and buy some seafood of your choice.

From the public market, go straight to Brgy. Humabon (approximately 30 minutes away from the market) were the nice stretch of beach is located.

I stayed at Agudo beach resort near La Luz, a small resort. The place is simple and secured, water is clean, resort staff are very accommodating and people in the beach are friendly.

Most importantly the place is not crowded and lots of “sari-sari” store are conveniently located at the back of the resort , selling reasonably price goods.

In addition to this phenomena, The Ring magazine knockout of the year video from 1989-2009 was one of the best recognition to Nonito Donaire as 2007 knockout of the year against Vic Darchinyan at round five of the fight.

Mabuhay! Manny Pacman Pacquiao you are truly a pride of the Pilipino people. The 8th time world/division champion shown that he is not a usual boxer, when he showed respect and mercy to Margarito in the 10-12th round the PACMAN deserved a respect from the Mixican people.

For my personal opinion the fight should stop at the 10th round, the referee is stupid they don’t consider the effect after the fight. Now Margarito need to face a surgery after the 12th round he will now paying a severe price as a result.

Yesterday during Nietes fight in Mexico he show to the world that Filipino boxers are smart in the ring. Beside from PACMAN and Donaire Nietes is one of the reason why we need to support our local boxer’s. Really good solid job and head movement.

But Nietes need to improve his stamina for the long fight (12 rounds), after nine rounds Nietes is really tired, and his two hands are down he take his breath deeply in the mouth which is very dangerous specially fighting a Mexican opponent and fighting in the territory of the enemy.
